After a review of the difference between the Old Testament and the Old Covenant, Dr. Bramson begins the book of Judges. The period of time known as “the Judges” describes the time after the death of Joshua when “everyone [Israel] did as they saw fit.” What was the result of this way of living? How did God respond when they cried out to Him? What is a “judge?” Who was the first judge of Israel? What does this story tell us about our relationship with Jesus?
