In John 9, Jesus healed a man born blind.  It was commonly believed that if someone was blind, then someone’s sin caused it. Is this true? Why were the Pharisees so bent out of shape when they discovered the man had been healed? Hadn’t Jesus already healed blind people? What was different about this situation? (See Isaiah 42.) When you suffer, is it a consequence of your own sin? How can a God of love all so much suffering?
